In life's garden

A hand of seeds planted I am

Sunflower, roses and tulips expected

but in its place stood cactus strong and different.

Independent and bold.

according to them, wrong

Shhh, Hush your mouth for you know not my struggle

Alone within, hardened bymy own fight

I exist deeper than I seem

In life's garden, i am a seed.
